2011 HC5K Re-Cap
What a day we had this year for the HC5K! The weather was perfect & we had record-breaking numbers of participants & funds raised for the LIVESTRONG Foundation.
A special thank you goes out to our Sponsors this year; Woodloch, Pocono Produce Company, SYSCO Foodservice, PEPSI, Foxledge, Brucelli Advertising, Bold Gold Media & C&C Rental. All donated their talents & products allowing us to donate more $ to the cause.
We also joined forces with Mark Hughes & his company FastFinishes. Mark took us to the next level by supplying timing chips & an automated system that provided instant, accurate results for all who participated.
We had a great mix of families, kids & adults of all ages & levels who took on the course this year. The results from the event can be found on the link below.
The overall winners this year broke both records for female & male best finish to date. Tiffany Leventhal cruised in at 19:46.8 & 16 year old Hunter Proscia crossed the line in a blistering 16.32.8!!!! Congratulations to all our divisional winners!
Thank you to all our volunteers & the WL Team for making this year's HC5K a wonderful event! Plans for next year are starting already!
